Why Should I Apply for ROAD?
Going back to school can be a scary decision. Let ROAD help you ease back into school.

Get the "inside scoop" on college life and expectations

Network with others who've "been there, done that!"
Who should apply for ROAD?
bullet
Current adult high school diploma and GED candidates who want to go to college
bullet
Past graduates of high school or adult education who need a skills boost to succeed in college
bullet
Adults who are referred by local post-secondary schools as needing multiple developmental classes
What are the requirements for ROAD?

A minimum of four hours of career/college counseling
bullet
Successful completion of ROAD courses*
bullet
Book rental, materials & lab fees (registration fees waived)
bullet
Adherence to the attendance policy of SCAE
bullet
Cohort lunches
*(up to 3 English classes, Math through Algebra II, How Do I Get There From Here?, Computer Literacy & Computer Applications)
 
When do I start on the ROAD?

Orientation sessions are held every nine weeks. Call SCAE today at 207-490-5145 to schedule an appointment to get started with our orientation team!
